          on that topic u can have my old coil and generator, i have had numerous problems with coils for mk3s there are two different types a solid block amp bremi coil and the newer beru type i went to hanvic puchased a bremi unit at $150 it didnt come with the generator on the back so used the old generator of the coil started ran for half a day then died i brought it home then i thought fuel pump but then realised it had no spark traced it back to the coil in the end i had to buy the newer beru one that is a complete unit for $150 stil trying to get my money back for the other one
