If you want that sound/look, you can buy the backbox off ebay for less than 400 i think. then just get any resonator and do the following: replace piping from cat back, with only resonator and magnaflow in there (ie, replacing the old resonator and old backbox, and removing the briefcase muffler).

Nnnnnope! Just a smidge over $1k from Inglostat Autosport in Sydney. It was shipped by boat however which took an aeon but kept the cost down.
I've given the exhaust more time and I think i'll leave it as is. Had the rear seats out over the weekend for an autokhana and there was NO resonance at all. How odd, eh? Leather interior playing a negative role in in-cabin acoustics. Weird. I've even come to like the tips sitting low like they do. Hooray
