  • AWD System

hey guys, Well in about a year or so im thinking of buying a 1994 Volkwagon Golf VR6

Well because they are front wheel drive and im pretty sure no body has a AWD in aussie and i could be different too everyone, I was wondering if i could possibly change it too an AWD system, If i could how much would it cost??

    Cheers Simon.

Just a random thought, can you import wrecks for parts? Loon, you might be able to field this one, as i've never imported a car before, but wonder if you had no intention of re-registering that specific car you might be able to import it as "parts"

          Cheers

            Nope.

I queried this with "The Authorities".....Definitely not. But you can bring in front and rear cuts. Go over there with a BIG angle grinder

You would think so for an AWD to a FWD system. I don't think it would be worth it unless you wanted to just throw money away.

u wont get many advantages with it, unless u got some serious power comming out of that vr6
my mate had convert his subaru from FWD to AWD, was easy, subaru parts of another car just bolt on, but he didnt gain anything, infact he lost power, it takes more power to turn another 2 wheels

there is a company called Berg Design in melbourne that used to make full replacement covers for our wheels. they could be made to whatever style and thickness you liked.

they may still have some in stock.
