I'd recommend speaking to DBA in Silverwater for some slotted brakes with uprated pads. You could also upgrade the brakes with a set of 312mm fronts from either a Bora 4motion, and Audi S3 or an Audi TT. But this in itself poses a problem as not many wheels will clear the calipers which are smaller than a 17.
As for an intake mod, you can either cut a hole in the bottom of the air intake for more flow, or go all the way and go for a pod filter a K&N from an RB26 skyline does nicely, and make a metal/fiberglass or some other kind of heat shield to stop the hot air from entering.
Now more importantly, where are the pics of your car !
No that just means you've got very good tyres, doesn't really say much about the brakes. What exact model VR6 have you got?
Sorry to have to argue the toss here, but if we're talking about the ABS system (which we shouldn't be because the OP didn't ask about it), then it's sole job is to stop the wheels skidding. If a crappy tyre is installed and is prone to skidding easier, ABS will kick in sooner, so as to ease off the brakes allowing the poor performance of the tyre to stop you later. If the tyre is (for argument's sake) the best you can get, ABS will cut in later than if using a bad tyre, simply because the grip is going to be kept under a harsher breaking condition.
Back to the OP...I'm still waiting to find a BMC for my intake, I'm really not liking the look of my open pod filter might succumb to the styling's of Autobarn's DRiFT cold air intake.

Um... right... that's exactly what I said...
Sorry, I said it the other way round, ABS will cut in later if you've got better tyres...
Generally if you're trying to argue a point and call someone a toss you wouldn't back up your final statement with exactly the same thing as they said...

I'm not going to argue with you buddy. You didn't make it clear because the post was very, very vague in the sense of technical (or elaborative) information. If anything, I said what you should have.
P.S I wasn't calling you a toss, I was using the expression ''argue the toss''. I don't even know you!

oh woops sorry... i definitely miss-read the toss bit... I think we're on the same page, I think just my fingers typed before my brain quite figuired out how to word it...

I've got a set of 312mm Calipers & carriers for sale (from the Mk4 V6 4Motion Bora). They can be adapted to the VR6 (and will fit under 16" wheels) if you're interested...
