Hi all,
The Golf GL (1997) i bought has a sagging interior roof line..
I also noticed that my Antenna base is not completely sealed against the roof.
Seems like a theres a bit of wear and tear.. and theres a small gap between the antenna base and the roof of the car.
Can water get in there and then ultimately ruin the interior? hence the cause for saging roof line?
Or is there some thing underneath that antenna that protects moisture/water/rain from getting to bad areas?
Is it a bad idea to use silicon to seal this area?
