If they can't find one, get a replacement one again with the window in there and get it sprayed

Who knows? Considering the car is 13 years old the seal in my car was probably in crap condition too *shrug*

I would *LOVE* to respray the car + get new glass put in, but thats thousands - which I dont have

not the whole car dude, just the panel! Shouldn't be more than like 300 at a good price, and if obrien's quoted 720 new you have some room to play! after all, you have the right to have it replaced as it was before, so if before was original then new must be original too.

I... dont get what your saying.

The tailgate I got from golfwagen has had its glass removed and put into my car.

I'd love to respray my WHOLE car as the paint is fading and I have a lot of stone chips on the bonnet + front bumper.

The current situ with the rear window = I'm probably making a mountain out of a mole hill over this but it gives me the ****s every time i look at it.

I'm saying buy a different tailgate with the window already in it and respray that panel alone lol.

Um...dude, if it isn't how you want it then go back and tell them to fix it no matter how hard it is. it's not your problem Just make sure they know that you (and all the forum members here) remember faces and important things, such as the guarantee of a window seal. If you hassle them into getting it done properly and then a problem comes along, you will have backup.
