Yeah the new shipment just come in and the price is higher unfortunately. I bought up big on the first shipment when our dollar was almost at parity with the USD.
If you calculate the cost of ordering direct from Gruven and the cost from Dub Addiction there still isnt a big difference. I could have put the price up a long time ago and just made extra profit on the existing stock. I chose not to as its not how I do things.

I mean that when I take out my 15 yr old crack pipe I expect it to break...but when I put a new plastic one in I don't think it will break too soon. Plus, the kit is only $50 US so it's worth just replacing it all with the kit rather than sourcing separate parts.

You can get it immediately, if there was a problem, its a local issue and you can feel virtuous that you are supporting Australian business and helping keep VW suppliers in Australia in Business. You`ll be glad we are here when you need something that is too heavy to post. Like your 288mm Brake upgrade!
I dont mind paying a couple of bucks more for the local answer if it keeps the specialist on call for other issues.

Mate I can't be bothered repeating myself over and over...a couple of bucks is like a week's pay to me. That's the problem right now, it was the problem for a long time, and it probably WILL be the problem for another two weeks. I haven't even got enough money to buy the damn kit (a FULL kit with absolutely everything in it might I add) and people are trying to tell me to waste DOUBLE on the crack pipe alone when the bloody thing is still intact???
And Steve..dude, I don't know what you've got against me but what the hell is the point in your ''failing thread'' post? Why would you try to provoke?
At the end of the day, a plastic crack pipe has lasted in my car for 15 years and it is still intact. I don't see why buying a replacement plastic part would be a bad idea, seeing as the car itself probably won't make another 15 years, let alone 10.

When the flow stops, clean the areas use a Plastic epoxy such as Aldrite.
As for the plastic crack pipe, as in Mickey's case I just got a new plastic one for 14US, close to around 30 inc postage with other items and will almost certainly last longer than the life of the car, especially considering the generally highly mortality rates of VR6...
This isn't about how much money you spend on something or what is the "best" possible solution, but rather whats the best option considering the budget. I'm finding it difficult how some of you are failing to grasp this...
