  • Door trim golf 97 cl

I had a small accident recently so i went to camdengti to pick up a new drivers side door. Luckily they had the same colour door but its a vr6 door. I need to swap over all the guts from my cl door. Now im already stuck trying to unclip the window crank off the old door, dont want to break it so im checking if im doing it the right way. Sorry for the bad pic

so from this pic im guessing i pull it towards me, horizontally, and i need to be really strong to do it? cause its reallly hard thnx

If it's anything like the window winders in Nissans, there's a small clip around the base of it that you have to flick off with a flathead then it just comes off. I'm not sure about golfs though

yep, got it back safely. got all the guts in the new door. windows cranking up door handles are working, mirrors are turning, just having issues with the locking mech maybe a spring inside thats gone lose. not to fused gona leave the trim off until we come visit sometime soon. thanks again for the spare door saved me loads of money.
