Thankfully the rear cloth in mine was the same, but without rear headrests.

I bought a complete 5door donor 16v - the 5door gets the rear headrests.

If the costs for importing these are too high have you thought about modding the mk4 GTI recaros to fit - from a wrecked one ?

Why not just fit mk4 seats in your mk3 its easy
