    Don't you just yank the old filter off and put the new one on and turn the key so fuel goes through it (it takes a few goes) ??? That's what I did, lol.

      your ment to open the fuel filler cap, well that wat they taught me at tafe =p to get the pressure out of the system or its just gonna keep pooring out and you'll loose fuel. if u do this you will just loose abit

        Meh I caught my fuel in a bucket and poured it back in when I was done hahaha.

        No fuel was caught from my old filter though!

          dude first thing i would be checking from what you have said is your fuel pressure regulator as its probably weak or f**ked and as soon as you turn the car off and the fuel pump stops the fuel runs straight back to the tank from the rail then obviously it takes time to pump it back up from the tank to rail resulting in taking a few cranks to start but fine when running.
          my vr is exactly the same as we speak and i already have my new shiny aftermarket regulator to go on

          give it a shot man. id put money on it. . . .
