  • I want to know

guys i have been seeing quite a few vr6's and our roads and i have got to say there was one vr with quite different badging and decals on the guards that are located on the horzontal plastics of the rear doors.

I couldnt make out the writing but the lettering was in colourful lettering and didnt picture the usual vr6 badge

Is this a special edition or what?

    Thanks guys.

Yep it'd be a ColourConcept. The side trim is coloured writing whereas the VR6 standard trim writing is dark silver

Heated leather seats, colour-matched interior, exterior colours either blue, yellow, green, red or black. It's mainly just trim really.

Compared with the other Aussie-delivered VR6s, they had heated leathers, colour-coded interior inserts, those badges you mentioned, the six-spoke "Solitude" wheels you see in the pic as opposed to the BBS mesh, and only came in five colours, including black, green (light), blue (think it's Jazz Blue), yellow (pale) and red (think it's Flash Red). Some may have been tricked out with "luxury items" but I don't know if they were standard or optioned out by the first owner (things like a six CD stacker).

Edit: Mickey, you're on VWW more than me!

Guys i am an owner of a diamond black pearl vr6 colour concept edition

I never knew what these differences in the cars are until i sat in my one and man i just can believe it.

Thanks for helping me with the info i never knew until you told me and until i actaully you told me .

but the first one i seen was in parramatta in red not long ago.

My main differences to the usual vr6 is a high end blaupunkt stereo and stacker cd player an amazing leather interior much like and r32 golf 4 hugging feel, different wheels darker blinkers, different gaurds leather steering wheel and shifter heated seats from what i remember.

That's odd, a mate of mine had a red 1 and it had the red inserts in the seats and doorcards.

I have seen one or two (might have been the same one a long time inbetween sightings) on the Gold Coast. It had personalised plates with VW or VR 6 in it from memory. I liked the look, very unique.

Yeah I saw a red one at an Ashfield second hand car dealer and the inserts were red. Definitely wasn't ready for it.

These cars looks seriously cool. I never really liked them because I think the normal VR wheels are better, plus none of the colours really impressed me. But theyre are pretty cool because theyre rare... and HEATED LEATHER SEATS
