What are those roads like in a Golf Lorenz? Admittedly I haven't tried any of them yet in the VR6

Really good fun! Some of the older bumpier ones suck with my coils, but the quicker you go the less it seems to hurt! Should come out soon for a hills run and take some pics soon

I really used to enjoy the following route, not so sure with all the fires but I will list my route,

Eltham through to King-lake, king-like through to toolangi, toolangi through to healesville, healeville to black spur, black spur to lake mountain, lake mountain down reefton spur to bottom of warburton, warburton up mt donna buang, donna buang down to warburton, through warburton, back across to healesville than through to yarra glen, yarra glen up through to christmas hills back close to eltham, turn off to head through the hills to croydon.

But pretty much my favourite is reefton, gets pretty tight and there is normally not much traffic though the police are starting to trap on one of the straights, though the corners are very tight so not much chance of doing much wrong.

I also quite enjoyed the pacific hwy drive, very nice.

Yarra boulevard is another for a short drive home but it is restricted to 50 Km/h.

Up the snowy mountains anywhere there, there are some roads out whittlesea/Yea way that are great and a backroad to broadford that was surprisingly challenging and fun !

VR6 and a Pearl Jam CD can make any road a good one.

I Agreewith you that Mt Glorious is a great road, but there are way to many police up there now, taking all the fun out of it. How do u think i lost my license

But if you ever want a good drive, i'd advise going down to casino, Northern NSW, then accross to tenterfield, back through to warwick and back to brisbane. Takes all day, but its worth it. Lots and lots of twisties, good fun.

Otherwise the road between Glen Innes and the coast is a fantastic run, I did it on my motorbike, but i wish i had the car with a heater!
