    You're never happy!
    Just keep the mk1!
The mk1 is complete, and to get a vento to the point where you like it, you're goin to have to do a lot of work!!! Douche!

Dom depends if you're going to take parts off the mk1. Take the coils and the BBS off and yeah if it was a VERY tidy jetta could be a deal.

I'm gonna go out and buy a cheap Vento now and swap with you Dom.

Haha I agree with the others though Dom, a Vento is no mint Mk1 Golf like yours!

well yeah that would be the plan, although i would leave the coils on to sweeten the deal.....

If it was me i wouldn't, but its your call mate. I can see you living to regret it...

Are you thinking you want something more practical for a daily drive and have your other Mk1 as a fun car?

Show us some inspiration pics of Ventos that you like.... I prefer the Mk3 Golf VR6 myself, but i'm open to change my mind

I wouldn't do it unless i simply wanted something more practical that i didn't have to "look after" as much.

But if you want to go and modify it with paint and accessories etc, i really think that would be a backwards step. Your Mk1 is very unique and has massive character. Most VW's of the Mk3 variety are full of squeaks and rattly trim. Most will have MORE Kms than what your Mk1 has.. The only benefit really being it might have air con...
