  • How to make a 2.0 slow go even slowerer

Just drive it in 43 degrees. Seems to have only about 70% of its normal "power".

X2! Just roll the windows down, except the rear right they rarely feel like coming back up again Mine does ok in the heat, but I sure don't.

And the concept of a 2.slow going even slower than usual is a truly terrifying one

Yeah the aircon does a good job of chewing the power from the 2.0L!
I'd rather sacrafice the cool air to have more power!

          my TDI hates the heat....
turbo just chokes on all the hot air and just kills the power... AC makes absoltely no difference what so ever!!!

dude it's like one hundred thousand degrees in adelaide at the moment. no exxageration. okay maybe a bit... but still forcasts say 6 more days of 40+ degrees for you pub dwellers

I'd be using aircon in my 1.8L right now if it worked but sadly I'm too cheap to get it fixed lol.

I wind down both of the drivers side windows and it creates a nice little airflow cycle i find.

A/C not in use at the time. All the windows and the roof are usually down though, as it is a Cabriolet after all. Runs fine, no misfires, no pre-ignition, just flatter than a flat fart. I want a MkI Cab with a MkV 2.0 turbo in it with a DSG gearbox please.
