Yeah sounds like they were just out to get ya for anything they could. Surprised they didn't get you for smoked front indicators if they got you for wiper and p plate. I know that my p plates hardly stay unless they're jammed in pretty well behind the number plate. Unlucky dude.

Was 3 points for the defect and 2 for the p-plate not being displayed properly. I only had 1 point left :S haha.

Im not sure how the points work with the defects, I didn't think there was any points for defects but apparently there is. Maybe its 1 point per defect they find and thats why they foun silly things like the wiper and that? I'm not really sure

My brother's mate in his volvo got stung for 'Non-factory wheels' though if you look deep enough, it was an optional extra in that era.
Same with 3-piece wheels, if it comes standard, it's fine..

No disrespect to cops though, some are easy going, some aren't.

I have as much respect as anyone for the police who actually fight real crimes and such, but to the traffic police who like to pick on p-platers who are doing nothing but driving their safe pride and joy around, heres a big **** you.

What was involved to clear the roadworthy? Just bolt on the wiper, slap on a magnetic plate and pump up the bags? It looks like you took the paint off your rims too?

Yeah I put the wiper back in, stock air intake back in (not even sure why I was running the pod to be honest, it made the car sound like ass anyway) and swapped in the stock suspension. Also took out the smoked indicators and stuff too, just incase. Passed the roadworthy this morning and had the bags back in like 45 minutes later.

Did paint the wheels silver, nothing to do with the defect though, had been planning too and was actually on my way home from buying the paint when I got defected haha. I think I much prefer the silver to the grey I had them, the grey kinda of blended into the tyres, where as the silver stands out, and makes the car look lower in my opinion.

Too easy! Yeah I know what you mean, to me usually dark wheels lose your tyre profile and turns into a big dark circle. Now you can update your sig

in other news, the temporary wheels have arrived to allow for the rs rebuild (one center cap was removed so I could measure it up for new ones...)





So I couldn't wait to see what they'd look like..... forgot to flick my iso down so there's ****ty noize but whatever....
