    Hey Andy

Good to see a fellow Cab owner.

What size wheels and tyres are those? And what size were your originals?

My Dec 94 built is still on the original 14s which look stupid small.

Are you planning any other mods?

i changed the enkei wheels from 14s which looked tiny in the mk3 arches
I bought the wheels and tyres from a guy at work for $500.
the wheels are 17 x 7 and are made by rota. the tyres are 'gt champiro' 17 40 205 and nearly new.
i had the wheels shotblasted and powdercoated satin black from a small powdercoaters located next to office works at brookvale (I cant think of the company name but he did a great job).he charges 65 a wheel.
the guy from work fitted and balanced the tyres(as part of the deal) after the coating
then i had to buy rings and wheel bolts which cost 58 from good spanner also in brookvale. job done. $818 fitted.
as for more mods i would like to lower it a bit to fill the arch gap. got to start saving for that.

Shotblasted + powdercoated for $65/each, not bad! Any close-ups of the wheel, and did you like the quality of the finish?

I think the combo of std height and black wheels make the wheels look smaller.
with 40 profile tyres the size is only 3 mm larger overall.
they look bigger up close I will get a photo when i get a chance.
