    Going to start fix old engine. All parts arrived yesterday, so ready to start.
    First going to clean all parts, paint and after that change timming chains parts plus more...
    New parts:

    Thermostat 80C, part no. 075 121 113 D:

    Exhaust manifold gaskets 1-3 part no. 021 253 039 E and 4-6 part no. 021 253 050 B:

    Oil pan gasket 26 holes, part no.021 103 609 B:

    Crankshaft oil seal, part no. 068 198 171 or 068 103 051 G:

    O-ring for waterflange, part no. N10 139 201:

    Gasket for waterflange - to engine block, part no. 021 121 119 A:

    Oil pressure switch black 1.4 bar, part no. 068 919 081:

    Waterflange thermal switch 4 pins brown, part no. 357 919 369 E:

    Waterflange switch for temperature sensor, 2 pins, blue, part no. 025 906 041 A:

    Oil pressure switch blue, 0.25 bar, part no. 028 919 081 D:

    O-ring for thermostat, part no. 035 121 119:

    Exhaust manifold nuts M8 and M10:

    Hoses for oil cooler to block and water pipe, part no. 021 121 096 and 021 121 058 A:

    Timming chain kit:

    Valve cover gasket, part no. 021 103 483 B:

      Old VR6 engine and engine parts is dirty - need good and deep clean and after that nice paint:

              Very nice, should look excellent when its all done. Keep going with the pictures, its hard to find good DIY's online, especially in the level of detail you will be going to!

                    Good work. Are you doing anything special with the engine, or just rebuilding it to stock specs?
                    Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
