Washers don't go with wipers

Yeah, you'd have thought the previous owner might have noticed the wipers being out of sync. Must have been an error when changing the pump.

Sorry to dig up this old chestnut, but i noticed a few weeks ago when I parked my car in my in-laws driveway (45 degree angle) the water from the washer bottle all leaked out of the rear window washer by itself.
Is that normal? Or is my rear window washer missing something that should prevent this??
