Wouldn't a hole drilled through the floor lead to rust anyway?

not if it's properly rust protected.

if you just drill it and leave the bare metal there, then yea, it'll rust.

a rubber bung of sorts might help too.

The membrane door liner must be intact and glued to the door all the way round each door. The membrane is usually broken if the central locking is repaired, or the window winder is repaired or the door itself is repaired.

Make sure there's no water on the front floors too. From the front floors, water can make its way to the back floors. If there's water in the front too, then that's almost certainly how you're getting water in the back. Water in the front could come from a leaking heater matrix, leaking heater hose, leaking air boxes.

and even no plastic cover on the rain tray then down into the heater and onto the floor . you really have to catch the water in the act, but drilling a hole in the floor doesnt fix the problem lol then you will just get a river instead of a pool. but everthing still gets wet when the water comes in.
