Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    how much for a mk2

    hey all how much do you think a 1991 mk2 gti sells for
    the mods are
    *repainted metallic blue with a violet pearl over top
    *17inch mags
    *fully height and rebound adjustable suspention
    *cd/mp3 player, 2 sets of 6 1/2 inch compnent splits, 2 amps and a 10inch sub, custom door pods
    *2 1/2 inch pipe from high flow cat converter and twim pipes at rear
    *aftermarket spoiler from south africa
    *aftermarket door hand;es also from south africa
    *corner wing splitters, and a vr6 chin spoiler put onto back bumper
    *custom eye lid with vw logo

    any comments would be much help

    Seems like its in great condition. It depends greatly on the market at the time. I would advertise it for around 7 G. Be patient, they are cault cars and dont sell very quick.. which means that if i buyer does come, they may pay top dollar for one.

                    Come on Steve, dont steal the limelight from the glorious MK2 over something like me never washing my car (Yeah the dirt is still the only thing holding it together (Also some rust now in the A pillars!!!), also brake dust and I had to get a roll of duct tape!!!!).

                    Hows yours going? Fixed that misfiry problem yet?

                      Misfiring was merely the insides of the main fuel filter in a smaller fuel filter just before the fuel distributor. All fixed, and performing flawlessly.

                      So when you actually going to show up on a drive?

                        I show up to plenty of drives just not with Mini2 or MK2 owners. Also I dont have any time and I have too many mods to undertake.
