Mr Golfs Mk2 update

Well, after losing yet another fuel pump box in December, the Mk2 has been off the raod for 3 months awaiting a part. I put it in last weekend, and now it is with Peter Shelley getting a strange and intermittant problem with the injection/ ignition diagnosed and fixed. The BBS RS are being painted, and the new 1/2" wider outers are going on in the next week or so. In the meantime, Pete has kindly lent me my old wheels which he owns now til I get the RS back up and running (props, Pete. Cheers.)

The car will definitely be at the Nationals again this year. Who else is making the trip?

Faaaaaark!!!!

It wasnt the fuel pump. It was just crap from a self destructing fuel filter clogging a cone filter in the line just before the fuel distributor!!! All fixed now, and it feels even quiker than before. Stay tuned for dyno results and 1/4 mile times.
