After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

There is a little cubby hole on keep fit window models, that is blanked off when electric ones are fitted.

Our Australian delivered Gti had no lighter. As I recall (it was a few years ago now) all the wiring is in behind the panel. I just put a cheap after market one in to recharge the mobile phone.2001 Bora 4 Motion Sport now used by number two son

I used to own an Aust delivered '90 GTI manual & it didn't have a cig lighter.
1800 Digifant injection.Understand how it works, troubleshoot logically BEFORE replacing parts.

Yep I have a '90 import and no cigarette lighter, which suits me fine.
Still, didnt stop a previous owner(or friend) from burning a hole in the passenger seat.sigpic07 GTI
