MK2 mechanic Brisbane

So I just got a mk2 golf and I was looking for a mechanic in Brisbane to help with everything
I tried to get a hold of 'JMac' through the forums, but I haven't heard from him as yet, so who should I go for or where is JMac located?

Bugger, I'm in woolloongabba and need to get the old girl to road worthy, so driving to the Gold Coast is probably out of the question for now.
Does anyone know someone nearby who I can get it to?

There is a new guy on the forums - buggered if I can recall his user name - who mentions in his sig he is doing mobile work around Brisbane. I would love to check him out, as I get asked this question every other day, and could certainly steer a lot of work to someone decent.

Yep J-mac was a big loss, but I totally understand why - he now has a life and earns good money back in a regular job, and I'm glad to hear it.

Sorry for not getting back mate it wasn't intentional, and I am still in the game so to speak but in a way different position and wielding my 25yrs Vw audi and Porsche knowledge to the max so not sure where the not in the game info comes from. Im not in business anymore for a good few reasons and and wasn't for the lack of work or any rework.

I think you have at Logan Rd close to Repco some VW Mechanic if not you have VW Mechanic at Coorparoo, next to train station.

Thanks to all the other people, I'll give a few a call, one that did well on true local was the Rocklea Veedub and euro centre, anyone had any dealings with them?

Took my MK2 to Leon's Motors (Friend of mine works there). They had it sorted quick smart.
