Replacement headlamps

Has anyone had to replace their headlamps recently? I got one a few years back easily (the lens randomly fell off when I was driving??), but apparently you can't get them new here anymore. I've seen the posts about converting to another kind but am sort of after a quick fix. Any leads?

i replaced mine about a year ago now, made a huge difference with no chips on the glass.

I bought a pair of these recently "VW Golf Jetta MKII MK2 Headlight Pair 7" SMOKED CROSS HAIR HEADLIGHTS SMOKE JOM" from Ebay store "STOP INTERNATIONAL". About $145.00 delevered...
Was finding it hard to find any Mk headlights !

I must say. Having a that had a HELLA headlamp a cheap Indian made one, there is a clear difference in the beam pattern.

OEM is a must for these cars. I once learnt the hard way with a repco heater hose popping off on the M4.
