Hi Guys

Does anyone own one of these Gear selector tools for the MK2?

Any feed back on how useful they are?

I cant see them being to hard to make... all i need is some measurements to give it a go.. does anyone know the measurements?

Gear Selector Tool

Google is your friend. I found a perfect template. If you have no luck, I'll post the picture when I get home.

Only useful if you disconnect the gear linkage and need to reset it, or your having issues selecting gears.

Hi Fonz, I bought one and found it useful. Not expensive to buy or you can get jords template.
Good to keep in your toolbox.

I've got one too, its a must when adjusting the clamp on the main shift rod.

Here is the template. Printing to card works, but it only really lasts the one time. I printed it and then used an old credit card to cut a more permanent solution.

Of course lol. Nice to have as you know you will be sure to be replacing gear selector bushes or ball and socket etc at some stage so cant go wrong having one
