How many in Aus?

Just wondering if anyone has an idea of how many 2 door 16v mk2's there are floating around Australia?

I know of 4 in melbourne, one of them mine, 2 are red, one of which is nearly destined for the scrap heap, and a navy blue one.

Can any of the other states estimate how many they have?

Ha ha true, the 16v's must love motokhanas, when I did one in mine I beat a 380hp porsche carrera 4. And absolutely whipped a guy in a lightly modded mk1.

Did the red one you saw have 16v badges Antinora?

I know of 1 white south african 3 door 16v in Brisbane
There is also Jhn Golfers, but his is an 8v

I doubt you'd debadge a 16v so I'd assume it was an 8v.
