    8V Carbs

Good point there Ryan. An ABF is also an older unit and might require a rebuild sooner or later?

I kinda figured a 20VT would be easier in terms of existing fueling system, already decent power output etc, when you are able to do the work yourself mostly.

It would be a pain in the arse to work out half way through a conversion that the 'other' system would have been lots cheaper.

Even though I love the idea of owning a car with an ITB setup, the cost of an EMS and it's tuning really scares me at the moment from a money wise perspective...

ITB adds cost. 20VT would be cheaper. as both need (or would have) aftermarket ECU, purchase price would be roughly similar for the engines, you'd just have extra cost of ITB's. Tuning the 20VT would give a heap more power that you couldn't get out of the ABF unless you worked it.

btw, ITB's on standard engine is pretty pointless, as it wont add that much HP, without other appropriate power mods!
However, it'll sound better than a 20VT, anyday!

Thanks Jarred, main point of ITBs would be the pure awesomeness of having ITBs! Haha.

        Maybe one day...

        Back to research...
