Mk2 8V ECU Upgrade?

been looking up a few options for exhausts... and came accross this one on GAP.
"Techtonics cat-back exhaust system, Stainless. System includes 2.25 inch mandrel bent stainless steel tubing, stainless 12 inch straight-through resonator, and stainless Borla muffler."

opinions???

Would be a little crisper than my Jetex, at least that's what I figured before I bought mine.
Probably better value too, as it isn't mirror polish finish.

Don't expect power gains though (8v owners)

yup, cut it out and continued twin 1.75" into 2.25" through to the 2 original mufflers.

our cars are a little special coz they're UK imports we legally dont need to have cats

i went and had a look, im thinking of just cutting the cat off and putting a straight pipe

depends whether it needs to be cut out, if your not up to it or dont have time take it to a muffler place. i think mine was about $100

LOL i think he just cut it about half way, so from the rear it looks like the mufflers are used but really they aren't..

tell ya what, im giving that a go, might go see if i can do it now actually! cause the mid section has bolts and shietttt

stupid bolts were way to tight, couldnt get them to budge, have to wait till i can get it on a hoist

that borla sounds nice, but theres something about twin pipes on a mk2 that just seems right to me. Do you guys know what i can do to quiet my exhaust down? lol, drove it for ant 3 hrs today and i have a headache....

Its a standard system except the rear box, makes it sounds like a drone.
