  • After Market Thermo Fans

Hello..... I need to change the thermo fan on my GTI 8V, and from what I understand the original fan is a 2 speed.
What i would like to ask is.... are the 3 wires running to the original fan = 1 wire-negative, 1 wire-stage 1, 1 wire 1-stage 2. If that is the case can I run 2 slime line Davies Craig fans? 1 setup for stage 1 and the other for stage 2?

    Thanks guys

not after reading your comment... No, I'm not sure now. I'll have to check the CFM now.

              You will be fine.
              I'm using 2 cheap thermo's, without a shroud, A ok.

You can get away without a fan, so long as you don't stop too often (I did it for 2 weeks)
