mk 2 diesel 1989

i have just bought a 1989 diesel mk 2 golf. does anyone know much about them. just inetersted thats all.

it is a 44 kw engine, appears to be turbo'd. any info would be appreciated

hey i cant put up pics but if i can email them to someone who can that would be good.

it appears to have come from the u.k in 1990. to qld and then to tasmania.
it's metallic blue, with blue interior, factory sunroof. small bumpers,4 doors.

What do you want to know about the engine?

I can tell you it is indirect injection, 1.6L, probably has a k24 or T3 turbo (small chance k14), and you can get much more than 44kW out of it if you want

i am busy cleaning up the blue golf as it is filthy inside, dog hairs etc.
