    Hey guys long time no speak

    Just starting to tidy up the motor for our annual show comming up? anyway i shaved my tow hook cover and got it all sprayed up and mint, however the bumper sags a little anyone had this and sorted them out?

    prob means a clip has snapped and ill need a new one but maybe i can DIY something to make it heaps tighter all round

    I have the same problem on where the bumper joins the front left quater panel. The car was hit from that side and i guess they never repared it properly.

    If you get it fixed can you let me know how you did it if it was a DIY job.

        I think my front bumper has got the same issue, taken a hit and broken the brackets, might see if i can source some more at some stage.

          Yes, this seems to be a very common prob
          my car has the same ,

          I have had a a bit of success by adjusting the bolts that hold the bumper to the crumple rail as they seem to loose tension.

          I would think that the bumper & its mounting system are part of the crumple zone

          I think it is caused by parking mishaps, when another car just pushes against the bumper & bends the bracket slightly

          You can slip a washer or some other form of spacer between the bracket & inside of the rail, but you are limited by the lenght of the bolt to how much you can gain back

          & you get access to do this by removing the blinker
