the heater matrix is leaking in the new mk2 , is the swap hard, any experience???obviously the full dash out.

I didn't have to take the full dash out, just the centre console and the lower panels on the dash. It's a common problem - I remember the local parts store had the heater matrix in stock, they were selling so many of them! -
Don't use asecond hand heater core. Make sure you buy a golf3 item even if you have to fork out $300 for it from the dealer. The golf2 ones were always a problem thats why they put the pressure restrictor in the coolant hose.Widebody Cayman S Turbo, 83 ur Quattro
