Well, I am going to replace the clutch in my GTI. Question is should I upgrade? I have been looking around and don't really know the difference between these higher price alternatives and would like to know what some others have done and where to look when it comes to clutch time?

What is your reasoning for an upgrade? Stockie will last 80k. Are you going to be adding mind blowing bits to ya dub?? If not dont waste your money mate put it towards some nice mags or Chimney mate.

Absolutely no point in spending money on an upgraded clutch for a MK2. The std ones practically last forever.Originally posted by delta|triangle View PostWell, I am going to replace the clutch in my GTI. Question is should I upgrade? No need to replace it unless it slips, you are just spending money for the sake of it.
