  • Lewi's Mk2 GTI

This is a Mk2 golf i bought off this forum from a nice fellow member in this forum.

A little info bout this car:
    -1986 Mk2 GTI
    -ABF 2.0L 16V
-Fitted with big bumpers and RHD wipers
-Recaro seats front and back though the driver side has a worn waist support
-Lowered but im not sure by how much

Lots of other stuff here and there but just a few too many to mention. I was astonished at how immaculate this car was, the body work is just to clean except for this dent on the passenger door and some stone chips

These were taken with my phone so they arent as nice. And i would have taken more photos but i didnt have the time. Ordered a few parts already for the fun of it. I dont seem to be able to access my photobucket account, hopefully i can post photos of the GTI soon!

So far i have changed the tail light to the crystal tail lights and waiting for the other parts to arrive.

    Very nice purchase. That car was a bargain. But, mate, crystal lights please don't say they're like these;

Nah mate, those lights up there look pretty crap. these crystal lights are just something i decided to try out. They look okay... but i do agree that a set of smoked lights would definitely be nice.

Here are the photos that i promised, not as nice because i used my phone to take them, have been detailing the car to get it to shine even better. Will take more photos with my camera when i get the chance.

These are all the photos i got for now, will post more photos when i parts arrive

Very nice! Do you have any details on the exhaust system? How is it? Also, what's up with the dash?

Do you have any specific plans for the car?

                Enjoy

Looking to have a little fun with it, just received my new steering wheel to install in the car, just waiting for the steering hub adapter.

Supposedly from what i can tell it looks real, not 100% sure but i havent found anything that seems fake about it.

How much you paid would determine if it's real or not, the pic does look something like what I was selling

I haven't tried using it yet, may eventually try to see how it feel.
