wierd startup problem:S

ok guys,
a little problem poped up a few weeks ago and i can't work it out.
anytime the car has been sitting around for 2-3 hours after driving it, it doesn't start until about 6 cranks. doesn't even hint firing until the 5/6 go.
BUT.... it will start as normal, at 1 hour and 4-5 hours after driving it.
the starter has been refurbed, so i was thinking its the dizzy but it's as if there is no power what so over:S
car is 16v k-jet
any help would be great!!

wonder if it is your fuel pump or filter...

Both pumps and filter have been changed.
When I eventually get it started I can smell fuel out of the exhaust. So fuel is getting in, just no spark
But when it running it's perfect
