installing cigarette lighter socket in GTi mk2

Hi guys i've bought a GTi mk2 and this is my first time on watercooled
My car doesn't have a lighter socket!
I Just wondering is it hard to install one?
If you guys have done it before would you be able to let me in how to?
I'll will post some pics soon just getting some new part on it now
