you could fit a mk1 pump with tonnes of modifications..BUT.cheaper to buy the MK2 pump than to modify it, and a lot less effort.
The mk1 pump works different, and will not fit into the surge Tank of a mk2, running one inline would involve doing away with the surge tank accumulator and you would have to make up new piping and custom Banjo fittings...So as far as a patch up job...It won't work.

nah.. It's a Kjet. 84 GTI. If I could find a mk2 pump I would fit it, but at the moment, I've changed the lifter pump in the hope it is that but no joy!Comment
