Welcome to forum, very nice MK2. What's the color of your MK2 and are the rear side windows a standard fitting from VW for the pop out rear 1/4 windows ?

To me its a yellow, unless Im color blind. Good color on a Mk2 me thinks.

he means the slightly rough finish (like the skin on an orange funnily enough )

LOL. Orange peal is the effect that paint gets after a bad paint job, the worse the paint job the more it looks like the skin of an orange.

I think i remember this car, i saw the build up thread on Fixx i think.
