  • First trackday at Mallala

Well it was a fair fight between my mk2 8v and a E30 318iS and some sixes. The M3 we were up there with took 11 sec of his best lap times running slicks!

Anway I was keeping up with a 300ZX although there weren't that many road cars in attendance. Had a blast and the oversteer from the eibach sways had me grinning like an idiot!

Yeah I had the rear seats out. The boot door covers are in the garage, waiting on a solenoid for the boot lock

We only have one race track near Adelaide as the V8 circuit uses the streets in the city. Cost $70 for five sessions of 15 mins. We didn't even bother with the first session as it's always packed!

That seems reasonable, its 20-25 quid for 5 laps at Castle Combe. A full trackday at say Oulton Park would be around £150-175 depending on the time of year and day of the week.

Not that the Daewoo I'll be running will be up to much

You don't need to drive a daewoo LOL!

Seriously in the five years since I was here on holiday euro prices have crashed. Just don't expect to pick up a corrado though
