mk2 just burst a waterhose

my gti just burst the top radiator hose after about 10 mins of driving from cold it split in the weirdest place the middle. any way anyone have any top radiator hoses in handy?

i think i might get the samco silicone hoses has anyone tried these?

Havent tried them but I do like the look of them. How much are your looking at for a set do you know? If the price is right perhaps do a double order and share the shipping.

Prepare to pay good money for a set of Samco hose

but if you buy all standard hoses locally, it may end up even cheaper to get a set of Samco. Awesome GTI has silicone hose with similar quality but cheaper.

i was planning to spend no more than 250... im going to repco now to have a look and see what they have in the universal fitting silicone hoses

i ended up making a temporary one from a mitsubishi magna bttom radiator hose
