Front Wheel Bearings

Hey guys, my front wheel bearing has gone to the sh*t, so it has come the time to replace it before it gets to late, im going to replace both fronts at the same time...Is there any real difference between the genuine ones and non genuine?? as i am going to buy them this week and get them fitted.

You can use non-gen with no issues as long as they are bought from a good supplier. SKF are a typical bearing supplier that vw use to make their bearings that can be bought for half the cost of ones in a vw box.
