Ebay chips and most chips for that matter dont do much if anything. The only real noticable difference is the removal of digi-lag.

beside i have an AMD ECU coming over from the uk (fingers crossed) next month

uK cars that have been chipped does make a massive difference from what i remember from the ones i have drove

i have also found a fix that may remove the lag without a chip...i havent tried it yet but it is one of my plans.

It would have to be something to do with the ECU. The lag is caused by the computer not keeping up with fuel dilivery during gear changes or something. Theres a technical explanation on the tex.

8v.. Who is doing your extractors for you? I have a Autotech 4-2-1 manifold im looking at getting installed..

Also I have an ebay chip floating around somewhere also, what the chances of getting involved on sunday?

im just installing them i got a mk4 8v manifold with a mk3 downpipe and im not sure about sunday you would have to ask velly or si
