  • removal of c arm tips

I want to replace my bushings but I have hear so many horror stories with the captive nut failing I am nervous hahah.

I cant get the front pivot bolts out even with a breaker bar... not a good start.

Undo the nut (19mm iirc) but leave it on the end to protect the thread in case you miss with the hammer.
Then get a breaker bar or something similar and wedge it between the hub housing & control arm and pull down hard to help them seperate.
Then, get a solid sized hammer and belt the hub eye casting around the pivot bolt. A few good blows should shock it loose. Dont be a sissy, you gotta hit it!

    Hope that helps dude.
