        Wow dude. I'm impressed.

How's it go with the Bilsteins compared to the original stuff?

Mate, it drives like a new car; between the new shocks, tyres, control arm bushes, tierod ends and the alignment, its like night and day

The Bilsteins are firmer than the stock shocks not to mention the old ones being 20 years old factory installs.........

            So you kept the springs?

Yeah tyres made a BIG difference for us. I have no idea if our tierod ends and bushes are worn.

How sitff are Bilsteins? Like MK5 GTI stiff? I ask b/c I know that Bilsteins can be notoriously stiff.

No, not at all; compared to the Tiguan 147 with 18" wheels that I bought for my wife its soft and comfortable yet firm

They are the black coloured Bilsteins, supposedly similar to the OEM shocks...

Yes, German Auto Parts; fantastic service, great place for a lot of parts and the freight price is very reasonable. Given the strength of the Aussie dollar they represent great value
