  • Which 15's?

Ok people, I want to change the wheels on my mk2.
My 16inch simmons are slightly too wide, I want some wheels to make it look modern. I think 15 inch is a wise all-rounder choice.
    Am open to suggestions.

i reckon u should stick with 16" but something that actually fits! although nice 16s are rare. but u have nice suspension. do it justice with a lower profile tyre!

what sort of budget are u on? are we talking nice stufff? or u gonna take it easy on the old wallet?

Budget is a bit dependant on if I can sell the simmons or not.

Stay 16s. 15s look too small on a Mk2 these days.

              Which ones...

              Go any of the following:
              ATS Cups
              Mercedes Alloys
              White Oz Classics
              Satin Black Ronals

For size 15x7's if you really want 15's but 16's with low pro's for sure...

              Hop that helps...

              Cheers James

Over 15's tbh. They look great on mk1's but you want 16" RS. Any decent offers for these wheels and new tyres

Yep 4x100 Borbet A's with Nexen 3000 205/40/16 tyres. I can count the number of tanks of fuel these tyres have on them. My custom rims are ready next week and these babies have to go!

redrill between the holes, too easy.

Would probably be impossible as these are 4 stud.

All Mk2's have a 4x100 pattern though don't they? There would be enough space in between the current holes, though the centrebore looks similar to a set I bought that was originally off a Toyota MR2 - they were too large (@ 70mm) to allow a PCD of 100mm to be drilled without taking out bits of the mount.
