    as much as it's great cause heaps of hard work went into it, and it's really different, really well finished etc,

    I'd still prefer and OG interior. It's just doesn't sit right with me. Can't imagine how many hours went into making all the eletrics and dash etc work AND make it all FIT! damn.

        i disagree. I love it! My fav is a TT interior in a mk2. Thats just horn!

          I am with you on that a well done OEM interior is hard to beat but if you are gonna do a MK5 inspired car & put all the running gear and electrics in a mk2 you might aswell throw the interior in there too.

          I just think it would be my perfect daily, all the luxuries of a modern car in a classic MK2 body.

                                This is my ideal at the moment. Great colour, all original GTI trim, small bumpers, BBS RS's, 16V engine, perfect stance for show & go. Love it!!!
