What sort of hot up chip mods are available for digifant? I have the wolf 3d ecu but dont think i want to use it on my mk2. Would prefer an oettenger hot up chip or something similiar if its available. What are my options?

My digi chip worked wonders when I had it. Having a fuel map for performance not economy is always gonna help

How much difference would you get if you re-jetted a stock carby?

You may get a couple of hp from a chip but don't expect much.
Would be better to spend the money on an exhaust first. The 1990 downpipe is very restrictive. Then a larger throttle body, then maybe a cam, then get it chipped to suit.

The big gains by chips are on turbo engines.

Bought it off ebay UK. Was obviously a copied chip from oettinger etc

The chip also did not BOOST power dramatically. What it did was to spread power over a very usable range improving drivability.

                  I can understand that.

You have to be careful buying chips overseas as they have to match your ECU exactly or the car may not start. If you do all of the other mods first it may actually boost power (and drivability) dramatically if you get a chip to suit.
