I know you have already bought it, but you would have been better off keeping your air box. You may find power will be down after the mod...

Anyway..like Mr Houso said...a little more info would be good. diameter? what did you get in the kit as far as brackets etc?

If it is a digifant car you will need an adaptor plate as the air flow meter is square and the pod will be round. You will also need a bracket the hold the air flow meter. I have some pics of the kits I have, I don't have it on the car anymore so may sell it if you need it.

where can i get the heat shield?

bit late but everything u need is at autobarn and i dont recommend a poddy anyway. You can make a heat shield urself. Use cardboard for making the template and then cut it from sheet metal.

Ive got a used K&N panel filter, it neads a clean and re-oil but a drilled box with a K&N is better than a poddy.

for mk2 ghetto mods, swiss cheese the non engine side of your air box and put and k&n filter in your airbox. no hassle, lovely noise, no realistic chance of catching fire (legalities... ).
