How many mk2 gti's in Aus came with Non-power steer ? Im yet to see one without it , thought I'd ask

Most private imports bar a few 16v GTI's of which there are bugger all. Mine doesn't have it. Saying that the new KR has the pulleys to support Power steering...Comment

My 89 16v doesn't have it, but I want it. Does anyone happen to have a 16v PAS rack lying around? 8v won't do...

I have the brackets to bolt the pump to the engine.
Not aware of any differences in the racks.
