      damn thats some nice kit!!!

I know this is a race build but are you planning on registering it? I could be wrong but I thought Willwoods werent legal here as they don't come with dust covers? I suppose spacers and adapters come under the same category though.

ok, thats one thing i didnt know.
        wilwood illegal?
ah well ill get around it somehow. if not ill just keep it as race.
gonna be anoyying to see what the engineers certificate is going to say or even how much its going to cost.
atleast my car will come to a stop tho.

lol. if we're going to get in to legalities, al's car has a full roll cage... i didn't think they were at all register-able.

wilwood's are a pretty popular upgrade. prolly cause they stop on a dime every time. are they zimmerman 280/288s? i have them on my mk2 too. they look freakin horn under 15s.

haha yeah well have to admit I lean on the side of cautious when it comes to these things, i know how much it sucks to get a cop having a bad day with a bit of knowledge and ending up with an expensive list of defects. burned to say the least!

Is love to get a set of Wilwoods on my MkII eventually though, they are freaking awesome...wheres the best spot to get em lads?

i am thinking of getting the 280's from the g60. the 288 was only available for the vr6s'. i havent decided if i want to go to 5 stud or stay at 4 stud. i dont see any diff at all really except for the fact that the 5stud comes with 288mm brakes. nearly 1cm bigger disc which= better heat distribution
oh and im also goin for the rollcage.
i have seen a few cars with full rollcages here in syd.
i keep seeing a skyline r32gtr with full rollcage and 16x13 rear rims.
put both rims together and they be as wide as my actual golf
